I was born and raised in Lebanon, Tennessee just outside of Nashville. At the university of Tennessee Knoxville, I studied laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing using synchrotron tomography, radiography, and diffraction. After my undergraduate career, I received a Fulbright grant to study the additive manufacturing of Al-Si-Mg in Prague, Czech Republic for one year. At Northwestern, I will continue to study the additive manufacturing of metals, with a focus on Aluminum eutectic alloys.
