I was born in Taiwan and raised in Shanghai to Korean parents. I moved to America a few years ago to pursue an education at Duke University (2016-2018, 2022-present), and came to Northwestern University for the summer to research a high temperature Al-Ce alloy. I have been involved in extensive research in both medical additive manufacturing and aluminum thermodynamics for my research, and now hope to find ways to interweave the two fields as I continue my work.
